ABOUT
SCI was incorporated in 1980 by David Shackelford. Mr. Shackelford graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1974 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He began his career as an engineer with the Mississippi Department of Transportation and Scott Bridge Company prior to starting SCI, Inc.
Mr. Shackelford's son, Michael Shackelford and daughter, Brandy Hamilton are the company's Vice Presidents. Together with Operations Manager, Todd Parker, SCI is poised to be around for another 40 years.
SCI presently has around 30 full-time employees with years of experience in the construction industry under their belts. A good number of those employees have spent most of their working career with SCI. Our competitive advantage is based on continuity, pride in workmanship, and ethical conduct.
SCI began as a little red wagon that could and has evolved into a construction powerhouse that can and will get the job done.
