SCI was incorporated in 1980 by David Shackelford. Mr. Shackelford graduated from
the University of Mississippi in 1974 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He began
his career as an engineer with the Mississippi Department of Transportation and
Scott Bridge Company prior to starting SCI, Inc.
SCI presently has nearly 100 employees with years of experience in the construction
industry under their belts. And, a good number of those employees have spent most
of their working career with SCI. Our competitive advantage is based on continuity,
pride in workmanship and ethical conduct.
